Donna Luelma Barker

She was born in Union Star, Missouri on May 5, 1931. She married Darrell Barker on February 14, 1948.

Donna enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping with family and friends. She worked in the berry fields beside her children when they were young. She tended to her garden, loved baking and canning food. Donna enjoyed passing on skills to those who were curious to learn from her.

Donna loved doing for others. She was very nurturing and loving to those close to her, always ready to lend a helping hand to others in need.

She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. Donna will truly be missed and will be in our hearts always.

Donna was survived by her daughter Renee (Rod Paul) Barker Paul; grandchildren, Laura Barker, Jodi (Mark Collins) Barker Collins, Branden (Cassandra) Paul; great-grandchildren, Peter Collins, Sydney Collins, Josh Paul, Ethan Paul and Tyler Paul; daughter-in-law Mary (Ken) Schultz, brother Dean Veale, and sister Frances Fox. Donna was predeceased by her husband Darrell Barker in 1986, son Gary Barker in 2003, grandson Joel Paul in 1992, sister Alice Cole, and brothers; Clayton Veale, Garold Veale, Harold Veale, and Delbert Veale.

A funeral service for Donna will be held at Young's Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at 12:00pm.
