Donald, age 67, was born in Dickinson, North Dakota. He attended all twelve years there. Upon graduation he enlisted in the US Army and raised to the rank of Sargent. Upon his 22 months in Vietnam, he returned home and later joined his parents Ernest and Carmilla, sisters Debbie Horyn Villarreal and Donna Vian in Tigard.
Don was an avid bowler and won many tournaments. He loved fishing.
Don worked for various companies, but retired from Kroger- Fred Meyer in 2014.
On November 28, 1981 he married Gail Tyson. They have a son, Darren Tyson, age 36.
Don is survived by his sister Dianne Binstock of Dikinson, North Dakota; sisters Darlene Biesterfeld of Wilton, North Dakota and Donna Vian of Tualatin, Oregon; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
At Don’s request there will be no service. Burial site will be Willamette National Cemetery.

Donnie, you will be greatly missed and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
