Not a day goes by that I haven’t missed you pop. Something will happen that will remind me of you and I’m happy to say that it makes me smile these days more often then cry. I’m so grateful for the time that I had with you and the amazing memories we shared. I can still smell you every time I get in my car or go to grandmas. Keeps me smiling and keeps me with the hope of knowing that I will see you again. I love you. 

I apologise for my earlier post. I now realise that the William Alexander Low is not the person I was looking for. I hope I have not caused you any distress in your time of grief. Derek

Hello, I am very saddened to hear of the death of William Alexander Low. I am hoping that he is related to William Alexander Jamieson Low who left Aberdeen, Scotland from Southampton, England to Montreal on the S.S. Athenia on 19 April 1923, aged 20. He then settled in Vancouver, B.C.

I am leaving this message from my home in Aberdeen in the hope that, if he was related, one of his family would get in touch with as I have been compiling a family tree of his family from Aberdeenshire.

I just to say this man has been in my life since I was a young woman.  He was always kind and so funny.  The last time I saw you was at my Dad's funeral and never thought I wouldn't see you again.   My heart aches for all of you, especially Grace.  What a wonderful couple  they were.  I am thinking of you all and want to thank you for  always being there for our family when we needed you.  Love you all R.I.P dear Bill.

As read through the various posts,  I couldn't agree more with the sentiment that the world lost a great one in Mr. Bill Low. He had the ability to be completely honest and candid about anything and everything, while at the same time showing unbelievable sensitivity and compassion. I often think about how he was able to pull that off - and just by trying to figure it out makes me a better person. I am so grateful for the compassion he showed me, I was going through a difficult time in my life and he and his family invited me in as one if their own.  20 years ago, my family moved to Utah, and we lost touch. I have missed the interaction with Bill and the entire Low family and will not let another Denver visit go by without re-connecting with the Low's. Rest in peace Bill.

Bill, you always treated as always   A member of the family. Your smile and hugs when I saw you at birthday party’s  was so great . So log pal  you will be missed by all.

Uncle Bill you will truly be missed by all. There was never a time when I saw you that you didn’t make me laugh.  I feel so lucky to of had you as my second dad for the last 22 years. And for the life time of memories with you.

I wasn’t prepared to let you go so soon.  You were my father-in-law and my friend.   I could not have hand-picked any better!  I have such wonderful memories; Vegas, Black Hawk, the Lake.  But what matters most is how you made me feel – always welcome and one of the family.  I will remember your remarkable laugh and sense of humor and your love of family, fishing and gambling.  You touched so many lives in such amazing ways.  I love you, Bill, Dad and Grandpa and thank you for all the cherished memories… until we meet again.  

You were the most amazing person on this planet grandpa. I still can’t believe you’re gone. The stories that you would tell and the giggles and laughs that would come from you as well as all of us at every holiday party, birthday or just the random visit will always keep me smiling. I remember the days of waking up early down at McConaughey and I would find you out in the boat house in your little tiny red shorts tinkering on Lord only knows what. And then on my 29th birthday you took Santiago out into the garage and had a real stern talk with him and found out one of the biggest surprises of my life before anyone else did. I didn’t know what you guys were doing but I know when you came back onto that couch to sit next to grandma you couldn’t stop smiling and asking me to open my birthday cards. I thought all along it was just because you wanted ice cream but you were just so excited to see me get engaged. I love you so much, and I thank you for making me the person I am today. It doesn’t seem real that you’re gone but I know in my heart I will see you again. I love you so much grandpa! Thank you for being the world’s most amazing grandfather!
