Robert was born on August 22, 1975, in Sarasota, Florida to Shirley Brown and Robert Fredrick Rowan.
Robert is survived by his children Destiny (Derec) DeBaca, Karina Rowan, his grandson Derec DeBaca Jr., his parents, his siblings, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his English Bulldog, Rocky.
Robert was loved by many, and he will be missed dearly. He loved his children and grandchildren with a passion and would always talk about them nonstop to friends and family and do anything for them. He loved football Sunday, along with late night Saturday game nights with some of his close friends. He was always so passionate about his sweets (he loved ice cream, cookies, cake, and anything with sugar) but nothing could beat a good homemade Mexican meal.
One of the things he loved most though was going to Homosassa, Florida to go boating and spend the day out on the water. He was so passionate about boating and wanting to take his grandson on his boat but unfortunately couldn’t after he got ill. This summer his children plan on making his wish come true by going boating and carrying his legacy on.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229. A burial will occur at the Olinger Highland Cemetery, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
