Raymond was born on January 8, 1950 in Santa Paula, CA. He got married on June 27, 1970 to his living wife Jean Raya at St. Anthony’s Church in Oxnard, CA.
He received his Masters in Business Administration from Regis University. Raymond served his country as a Sergeant in the US Air Force, receiving the Air Force Commendation Medal. He worked for AT&T for more than 30 years as a warehouse supervisor.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a resident of Whittier, CA and Westminster, CO, enjoyed musicals, and Chicano and Navajo art. He was devoted to his Catholic faith, his wife, three sons, and eight grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; his three sons, their spouses, and children; Raymond and Kerry, Kayla, Xavier, Landon, and Ainsley; Vincent and Andrea, Elijah, and Santiago; Gabriel and Amalea, Caleb, and Abigail; his brother and sister-in-law; Robert and Ruby; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Raymond is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Vega (2007); Mother, Amelia Vega (2009); Father, Raymond M. Vega Sr. (2018).
