Norma Ceballos

Norma Ceballos, a beloved lifelong resident of Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on July 19, 1932, to Joseph and Martha Hayden, Norma was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Norma married the love of her life, Joe Ceballos, on January 5, 1952. Together, they shared 72 years of marriage, building a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Norma was the heart and soul of her family, always putting them first and nurturing them with an unwavering love. Her family was her greatest joy, and she found immeasurable happiness in the moments spent with those she loved.

Norma’s legacy will live on through her children, Adele, Larry, and Gary, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends and extended family members. She will be remembered for her boundless compassion, her strength in the face of adversity, and her ability to make everyone around her feel truly seen and loved.

Norma worked for the Adams County School District in nutritional services, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues over the years. Her dedication to providing nutritious meals and supporting the community was one of the many ways she made a difference.

Norma was an active member of Northglenn United Church of Christ, where she found a deep sense of community and spiritual fulfillment. She joyfully sang in the church choir, sharing her love for music and her faith with others. Her devotion to her church and its members was a testament to her strong belief in the power of community and love.

In her free time, Norma enjoyed dining at Red Lobster and indulging in her favorite Mexican restaurants. She was passionate about crafting, solving crossword puzzles, and challenging herself with word jumbles. She loved going to the drive-in movies, especially enjoying classic, action, and mystery films. Norma was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, where she made lasting friendships and shared her joyful spirit. She had a deep appreciation for the arts, regularly attending plays and supporting local performances.

She is survived by her children, Adele, Larry (Lorraine) Gary, (Susan), her grandchildren, Jessi, Trevor, Allix and Drew; and she leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Dawson and Levi.

Norma’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will never be forgotten, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Olinger Highland Mortuary located at 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Northglenn United Church of Christ.
