MARGARET TURNER, of Loveland, Colorado, devoted wife, loving mother and aunt passed away November 25, 2011. Karin Margit Andersson was born August 28, 1921 in Arvika, Sweden. She, her mother and three sisters immigrated and arrived in the United Sates on August 20, 1929. They joined their father in Chicago, Illinois. Margaret met and married Leonard B. Turner in Chicago on July 6, 1946. Margaret and Leonard relocated to the Denver area in 1952.
Margaret worked in the bookkeeping field until her retirement from United Bank in 1984. Margaret and Leonard relocated to Loveland, Colorado in 1999 to be closer to her niece and nephew, Sherry and Greg Yost. Margaret will be greatly missed by her husband, Leonard; niece and nephew Sherry and Greg Yost, friend Cathy Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Ingrid and Marvin Wagner; nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews; dog Wiggles; and her friends & the staff at Sterling House in Loveland, Colorado. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gregory; sisters, Greta Pfleiger and Elna Young and best friend Dee Williamson. Margaret loved Christmas and she loved to bake all varieties of Christmas goodies. She loved little children and very much enjoyed handing out candy on Halloween and seeing the costumes that came to the door.
Visitation Thursday 9:30 AM followed by a Service at 10:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, Thornton, Colorado. Donations may be made to Pathways Hospice, 2000 N. Boise Ave., Loveland, Colorado 80538
Interment at Olinger Highland Cemetery following Service.
