Lillian M. Harper

Lillian M. Harper, 67, passed away October 28, 2023 in Laramie, Wyoming. Lillian was born in Laramie, Wyoming on June 7, 1956 to Lee and Mary Montoya. She was their youngest child. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don Harper, her mother and father, her sisters, Elizabeth Sisneros, Esther Cortez, Rebecca Cortez, and Ruth Sanchez. She is survived by her son, Jonathan R. LaGest, her siblings Diana Bogue of Thornton and Lee Montoya of Longmont, her grandchildren, three stepchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She loved being called grandma by so many who knew and loved her.

After she married her second husband, Don Harper in 1996, Lillian enjoyed her life in Denver where she could be with their combined families celebrating holidays and many family activities. She was a great stepmother to Don’s children: Darren (Heather) Harper, Craig Harper, Kyla Harper Strong (Terry). She and Don loved to travel in the U.S. including Hawaii and Alaska as well as to several countries. They loved riding their motorcycle.
