Jennifer Marie Durazo, 35, of Frederick, Colorado, died suddenly on Monday, January 17, 2011, in Denver, Colorado. Born Jennifer Marie Carter on February 11, 1975 in Fort Myers, Florida, Jennifer graduated in 1992 from Coral Springs High School in Coral Springs, Florida. She married Jorge Durazo in Denver on September 2, 2005. Jennifer was a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother, whose greatest joy was in spending time with her family and supporting her daughter's activities. She loved sewing and using her artistic skills for her family, especially in interior design and costume creation for her daughter. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Jorge Durazo, and daughter Pilar Diamond Durazo, age 5, a K-4 student at Frederick Elementary. Jennifer is also survived by her mother and step-father, Debbie and David SaBell of Broomfield, Colorado; her father and step-mother, John and Kathy Businger of Columbus, Montana; her brother and sister-in-law Jason and Brianna Carter of Northglenn, Colorado; and her brother Adam Businger of Arvada, Colorado. Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 22, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, in Northglenn, Colorado.
