Eugene G. Christopher

Eugene George Christopher, age 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Northglenn, Colorado on October 29, 2016. He was married to Melanie Christopher for 39 years. He and Melanie had two sons, David (Angi) Christopher and Justin Christopher. He has 3 grandchildren, Mea, Avin and Kash. One brother, Ed (Sandy) Christopher. Also, a brother/sister-in-law, Shawn and Val Brickman, 5 nieces and nephews and 6 grand nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Gene was preceded in death by his sister Grace Christopher, parents, Billy and Elanor Christopher and in-laws D.K. and Helen Miller.

He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 14, 1955 and grew up in Thornton, Colorado. He retired from Northpark Transportation in 2005 and then held several “Retirement” driving jobs. Gene really enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with the family a special time.

Lord, you called home a special guy,

though we might not know your reasons why.

We pray your strength to help us through.

We ask your love and guidance too.

He feels no pain, just love and peace.

We pray his soul for you to keep.

Comfort those, whose tears are shed,

as we embrace the life he led.

Blessed are we for his memories.

Thank you O Lord for he is free.
