Dale Robert Ogden

Dale was born in Denver, Colorado on April 5, 1955 and passed away on September 3, 2014. His parents were Charles and Dorothy Ogden. Dale is survived by his sister, Marjorie Slack of Somerset, New Jersey; his two brothers, Roger Ogden of Denver, Colorado, Arnold Ogden of Cedaredge, Colorado, along with many nieces and nephews.

Dale graduated from Belleview Christian School in Westminster, Colorado. At one time, he was the radio announcer for the radio station KPOF, located on the school grounds. He also at one time had announcer duties at WAWZ radio station in Zarephath, New Jersey.

He was employed at Comcast in Denver, Colorado as an IT technician. During his career, he worked as an EMT for the Denver Ambulance service, was a program consultant for Jones Cable, and a master controller operator for Directv. As a much loved volunteer in the technical ministry at Southeast Christian Church in Parker, Colorado, he served the church with his skills in the Audio-Video program. As one church member Steve Ebling said: Dale had “a desire to serve, and a wit that goes beyond description. We will miss you greatly”

A memorial service for Dale will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 2pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery. Inurnment will be at a later time.
