Barbara Ann Duran

Barbara Duran of Thornton, CO, passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021, she will always be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Grandma, and Friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on September 30th, in Silver City, NM to her parents Daniel and Mary Schaffer.

Barbara is survived by her Mother Mary Schaffer, Husband Silvino Hernandez, Sister Deeann Schaffer, and Melissa Palacio and Brother in law Mark Palacio, Children: Renee Duran Navas and Husband Moses Navas, Angel Duran, Raymond Duran Jr. and Wife Alicia Castro, Joey Duran and spouse Heather Wallace, Grandchildren: David Fransua, Nevaeh Fransua, Izaya Nunez, Uriah Duran, Arayiah Duran, Ziyah Duran, Julian Duran, Jodine Trujillo, Daniel Duran, Amillianna Duran, Everly Duran.

She was preceded in death by her Father Daniel Schaffer and Sister Irene Gonzalez.

The visitation will be held from 5 – 8 o’clock p.m. on Friday December 3, 2021 at Olinger Highland Mortuary. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 o’clock a.m. on Saturday December 4,2021 at Olinger Highlands Mortuary located at 10201 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229. 

A reception will follow at Alison Point Apartments 7850 West 51st Ave. Arvada, CO 80002 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
