Angelo Joseph Vega, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 3, 2024. He was 83 years old. Angelo was born in Denver, Colorado on October 1, 1940 to Raymond and Sophia (Lopez) Vega.
Angelo is survived by his wife of 41 years of marriage, Beatriz A. Vega; his daughters, Nicole Lopez (Jake), Angela Vega-Fields (Josh), Melisa Vega-Sanchez (Julian); five grandchildren, Anthoney, Sierra (Andrew), Liam, Maliyah, Julani; great grandchildren, Gianna and Nayeli Nicole and a sister, Kathy Vega. Angelo is also survived by numerous sister in-laws, brother in-laws and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Angelo was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank, Orlando and Rosana.
A Celebration of Life for Angelo will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. Following the Celebration of Life ceremony, Angelo will be laid to rest at 1:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue in Denver. The United States Marine Corp will provide Full Military Honors at that time.
