Silvano Joseph Curtis

With profound sadness we share the passing of Sal on November 14th at Villa Da Vinci Nursing Home.

He was the loving son of Assunta and Giuseppe Curtis (predeceased) and he will be fondly remembered by his many friends. Sal will be remembered as a kind hearted man that devoted countless hours to youth hockey as a trainer/equipment manager for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens and the Toronto Bulldogs. Always arriving early for every game he eagerly shared his passion for the game of hockey and in doing so has left his forever handprint on so many hockey families. Visitation will take place Tuesday November 19th, from 4-8 p.m. at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 20th, at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 10295 Yonge St., Richmond Hill. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sal may be made to Diabetes Canada.
