David Boyce

May 16th 1928 - May 15th 2013

It is with great sorrow the family of David Boyce announces his death. David passed away peacefully in his sleep early Wednesday May 15th at Bayview Extendicare after a long struggle, which he faced with grace and great courage. David was the beloved husband and lifelong friend of Barbara, much loved father of daughter Sharon Morrissey (Thom), and son Sean (Sue), and adored poppa of Melissa, Gregory and Michael Morrissey. David also leaves behind his sister Nancy Pigott, sister and brother-in-law Mickey and Bob Bradford and numerous nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents Walter and Florence Boyce, stepmother Carmen Boyce, brother Owen, and sister Myra Lewis.

A celebration of life and thanksgiving will be held Sunday May 19th at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles) Toronto. Visitation 1-3pm, immediately followed by service and reception. Our thanks for the care and friendship David received at Bayview Extendicare. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's honour to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
