Bruce Francis Clark

Bruce, his parents and sister moved from north Toronto to Thornhill, in 1956. They joined Thornhill United Church and, along with his parents joined the church choir. Bruce joined the Junior Choir and later became part of the Senior Choir until March 20, 2022.

Bruce’s life was filled with music as he sang in the Thornhill High School choir and productions of ‘Health’s A Poppin’, the ‘Hart House’ musical productions, the ‘IBM CE Singers’, The ‘Toronto IBM Theatre Productions’ plus he was a member of the ‘Cantabile Chorale’ from its first rehearsal in January of 1973 until its last performance in 2015.

Bruce’s ‘happy place’ was the cottage. His father had the cottage built in 1956 and that year Bruce went to Camp Calumet where he learned to water-ski. Over the years he went from 2 skis to one then to none. Yes! He was a barefoot water skier and his last barefoot run was in 2020, at the age of 76..

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Thornhill United Church on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 am, followed by lunch.
