Roger Dale Younts was born July 18, 1942, the son of the late Luther Monroe Younts and Rachel Freeman Younts. In the early morning on January 29, 2023, he passed away peacefully in his home of 50 years.
Roger worked on the railroad and loved to share stories of his work. He also loved be to outdoors, by the pool, or working in is wood shop. Everyone knew him as a kind man. He was a great Father, Grandpa and Great-grandpa.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dixie Mae Younts, to whom he shared many loving years.
He is survived by his three sons, Chip, Timmy and Luther; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
He was loved by all and will be very missed.
A private service will be held.
