Mary Louise Small

She was born the daughter of the late Donald and Willie Mae Williams of Loris, SC. She married Johnny L. Small on November 5, 1949, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Johnny Dean Small and Robert Gregory Small; brothers, Joel, Lonzie, Oneal, Jimmy, Ernie, Gene, and Shelton Williams; sister, Ernestine; and son-in-law, Lester C. Small.

Mary is survived by daughters, Carolyn Small, Sylvia McMillon (Ronnie), Joyce Jarrett (Tony), and Kathy Bean (Mickey); grandchildren, Michael Chad Potts (Tonya), Stephanie Smith (Eric), and Hannah Brown (Chaz); great grandchildren, Lexie and Carleigh Potts, Samuel and Maxton Danze, and Millie Brown; sister, Sherrian Ward; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Small; sisters-in-law, Shirley Covil and Aline Williams; and brother-in-law, Dewey Small.

We extend our special thanks for Medi Hospice of Lexington and Lakeish Gainey for her special loving care she gave to our Mother. We also want to thank Suzanne Hartman for her loving care.

A funeral service will occur Monday, August 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations. Burial will follow at Walter's Grove Baptist Church.

The family will greet friends from 1-1:45 PM prior to the service.
