Charlotte was born in Davidson County, June 30, 1954, a daughter of the late Calvin Griffin and Ruth Reid Griffin. She worked for Patrician Furniture for many years. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Jones, and she was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Taysha McGee and her husband Bobby McGee, Jr.; a sister, Joyce Hill and her husband David; five grandchildren, Robert Justin “R.J.” McGee, Cheyenne McGee, Christopher McGee, Tyler McGee and Samantha McGee; a niece, Dawn Pearson and her husband Tim; and other extended family members.
A Celebration of Charlotte’s Life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 902 Mendenhall St., Thomasville, NC by the Rev. Rodney Smith.
