A resident of this area all of her life, Jane was born on June 4, 1944 in Davidson County to the late Wade and Lillian Binkley Suggs. She was of the Methodist faith and had worked at Thomasville Furniture for many years. She especially enjoyed watching Carolina Tar Heels basketball and traveling to her second home at Holden Beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Suggs.
Surviving are her children, Angela Jarrett and her husband Joel of Trinity, Ken Hepler and his wife Rene of Climax, and their half-sister Melissa Brady; step children, Angie Nobles Simpson and her husband Keff of Marshville and Chris Nobles and his wife Gail of Thomasville; eight grandchildren, Brooke Jarrett, Bradley Jarrett, Josh Hepler and his wife Jen, Justin Hepler, Eric Foster, Austin Brown, Lexie Brown, and Brett Lambeth; and one great grandchild, Skylar Hepler. Also surviving is her sister, Judy Bowers and her husband Clayton of Thomasville; brother, Jimmy Suggs and his wife Doris of Denton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 6th in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, with Rev. Carlton Brinson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Thursday, February 5th at Thomasville Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Angela.
