Aleisha Jo Swims

Aleisha was born on September 10, 1984 in Mercer County, West Virginia to George Aaron Swims and Donna Phillips Swims. She enjoyed listening to her country music and loved eating with her family. Aleisha was preceded in death by her father, George Aaron Swims; brother, Donnie Aaron Swims; and her grandparents, Juanita and Eli Phillips, Jr.

Surviving is her mother, Donna P. Swims of Thomasville and her stepfather, Mike Wood, also of Thomasville; brothers, Brandon Hall and his wife, Brittany, and Doug Hall; sister, Georgetta Alvarez and her husband Tony; step-sister, Nicole Rose and her husband Jamie and their boys, Brian and Cory; step-brother, Michael Wood and his wife Christa and their children; and two nephews, Anthony and Nicholas. Aleisha is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Aleisha’s life will be held at 10 am Saturday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville with the Rev. Larry Hagerman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
