He was born in El Paso, Texas on March 12, 1964. Whitney graduated from Eastwood High School and received a BS from University of Houston as well as a MBA and PhD from University of Phoenix.
He was married to Elizabeth (Beth) Eidson-Stevens on May 25, 1996.
Whitney had a career in Business Management with Wells Fargo and Immi Turbines and University Professor at Southwestern College. He was a member of University of Houston Alumni, Woodlands Church North and had a passion for tennis, remodeling/construction, bowling, marksmanship, singing, camping and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his father, Whitney Stevens.
Whitney is survived by his mother, Mary Frances McAdams; wife, Elizabeth Eidson-Stevens; children, Christopher P. Richardson Jr., Ryan K. Stevens, Kaitlin P. Stevens; sisters, Gay Lynne Going (Larry), and Michelle Beth Greenwood (Ken). A Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 11:30 am and Funeral Services to follow at 3:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas, 77384.
