Mitch was a kind soul with a fierce fixation on the things he loved. Whether it was the everlasting love he gave towards his soulmate Marie, all the way down to a devotion for Houston sports; he stood tall through thick and thin. A Godly man is described as one who thinks of others before himself, is resilient through hardship, and protects those closest to him. No one could fit this description better than Mitch.
While he had passions of music and sports, neither surpassed the affection he kept for his immediate family. Growing up in Willis, Texas, he held firm in his roots while still seeing a different path for himself. Being the founder of a business in his early years, he was always looking to pave his own way in life. He leaves behind a legacy of embracing what life can throw and carrying on with integrity.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde F. Harris and Patricia C. Harris, and his brother Charles D. Harris. Mitchell is survived by his wife Marie Stamm, his daughters Amy Vaughn, Aubree Harris, his sister-in-law Cindy Harris, his niece Christina Harris, his nephew Chance Harris, and his stepsons Toll Dunaway, Tyrell Dunaway and Cody Stamm.
