Helen DiMedio Sopchak, ,76, passed away on January 3, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Sopchak; brothers, Richard, Leonard, Benny, and Louis DiMedio; sister, Rachel Campeggio. Helen is survived by children, JoAnn Sopchak, Thomas Sopchak and wife Sharon, Paula Sopchak; grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden, and Colin Sopchak; sister, Gertrude DiCamillo; brothers, Robert, Rinaldo, and Joseph DiMedio. She was also a loving sister-in-law to Connie, Phyllis, Louise, Anja, Clara, Janet, Dorothy, Joe, and Tony and a fun, loving aunt and friend to many. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2011 in the Chapel of Forest Park the Woodlands. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 10, 2011 at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch. The Woodlands, Texas. For those desiring to make a memorial contribution, they may be made to the March of Dimes or St. Jude's Hospital in her honor.
