He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Lee.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 42 years, Carolyn York Lee of The Woodlands, Texas; daughter Carol Ann Lee of Texarkana, Texas; stepdaughter Nancy Garcia and husband Mitchell of Spring, Texas; stepson Jeff Mead and wife Lisa of Gold Canyon, Arizona; grandchildren Susan Mead of Phoenix, Arizona and Joshua Lee of Texarkana, Texas and many dear friends.
He was an Eagle Scout and a proud graduate of the Purdue University Lyles School of Civil Engineering. He served his county in the U.S. Army at Fort Sam Houston. Frank was employed by Shell Pipeline as a young man and went on to a key leadership role modernizing Shell Pipeline and making it one of the most competitive companies in the industry. Frank was recognized and respected by his peers as a leader throughout the pipeline industry.
Frank was a loving husband who once said that Carolyn was the best thing that ever happened to him. He loved watching sports and woodworking. Every summer you could find Frank enjoying the outdoors in Canada on Lee Island and having fun with all his Canadian friends on Lake Matinenda.
A funeral Service will occur Wednesday, January 4,2022 at 11:00 am at The Woodlands Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380 in the Robb Chapel. Reception to follow in the Jones Library.
