Diane was born on February 11th, 1945, in Terre Haute, IN. She grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended two years at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was a former president of several local chapters of Christian Women's Club and worshipped at WoodsEdge Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, George Michael Jones and their two children Jeff and Chris. She is also survived by her brother, James Miller of Omaha, NE, his wife Linda and their two children, Allison and Ben also of Omaha, NE.
Additionally, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara (Jones) Frewing of Watertown, SD, and her sons John and Tim.
Her beloved parents, Boyd and Letha Miller as well as her grandparents, Wayne and Mae Outhouse, and Larry and Elsie Miller, preceded her in death.
Diane was a loving mother who cherished watching her kids play, being their biggest encourager, and greatest fan. She loved spending time with her family in Omaha, and in Centerville, Iowa. She had a wealth of friends that she loved with all her heart. She left with many memories of evening concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, great family vacations, heavy laughter, and quality time with the ones she loved.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 15th at Forest Park The Woodlands (18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384) at noon (12:00 pm). A time of visitation will begin at 11:30 am. She will be laid to rest at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery.
