Dean Allen Edmonds, 75, of Spring, Texas and formerly of Oyster Creek, Texas, passed away June 19, 2012. He was born September 7, 1936 in Galveston, Texas to the late William Conrad and Cecilia Biskup Edmonds. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley Buller. Dean is survived by his children Michael Edmonds, Steven Buller and fiancée Debbie Frazier, Lynn Buller and fiancée Diane Vercher, Ann Arden Sharp and husband David; sister Joyce Hillin; grandchildren Kayley, Jenna, Jake, Stefani, A.J., Chris, Kelli, Dustin, Blake, Blisse, Kirby, Cecily, Carly, Madalynn, Stefanie, Andrew, Jennifer and Rebekah; special nieces Teresa Horner and husband Jimmy, Terri Simpson and husband Cal; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dean graduated from Brazosport High School in 1954 and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Baylor University in 1958. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired, as assistant treasurer, from North Central Oil Corporation after many years of dedicated service.
A funeral service is set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 P.M. in Shady Grove Cemetery, Crockett, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, June 22, 2012 at the funeral home.
