He was born in Duncan, Ok on February 3, 1951 to Zane and Geneva Overstreet. His special, in-law parents were Russell and Eddie Presgrove.
David graduated from Duncan High School, married Sandie, began and completes a Business Degree at Cameron College in Lawton, OK. From there he started with Koch Oil Company out of Wichita, KS – ending finally in Houston, TX with Oneok Oil Company out of Tulsa, OK, making many friends and acquaintances along the way.
He was a loving husband and father. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, golf, Indian Artifacts, OU Football (most of the time), and fast cars (all of the time). Anyone who had the pleasure of spending time with him knew they would always be entertained by his numerous life stories. He was always there to lend a hand, or give advice when needed. He was the rock of our family, and will be so incredibly missed. \He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandie, his two daughters: Andi Overstreet and honorary adopted daughter Drew Mitchell, numerous friends and good times at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, MoMuscle Car Shop, hunting trips in Tennessee, fishing at the lake house in Livingston, The Cayman Islands, and many more places and events too numerous to write down.
A special thanks to Dr. Asit Choksi and Dawn Smith at Greater Houston Cancer Clinic in The Woodlands. They were the BEST.
No memorial will be held at this time, per his instructions. Please go to www.forestparkthewoodlands.com and leave your favorite memories of David. He will appreciate reading them.
