She was born in Houston, Texas on February 24, 1978. Danielle graduated from Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, TX in 1996 and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.
Danielle's love for dance began at an early age. So, it seemed natural for her to begin taking dance classes when she was just a child. As a preteen Danielle wanted to join Starlettes, a local dance/drill team, and perform group routines in competitions and events throughout the community. Her interest in drill team continued throughout her early teen years and in junior high Danielle was an officer in the Liberty Babes Drill Team at York JHS.
After graduating from college, Danielle's interest in travel led her to a brief career as a flight attendant for both Mesa Airlines and United Airways Express. When she relocated to the East Coast, her ability to connect with animals, especially dogs, led Danielle to accept a position as an animal care provider/dog walker in Bethesda, Maryland. In college, Danielle majored and received her degree in Fine Arts because of her passion for art history. Her love, interest and pursuit of the arts continued throughout her life. She was a kind and caring person with a loving heart and believed that everyone she met was her friend.
Danielle was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Dee Chastain, her maternal grandfather James “JimDad” Gambrell of Spring, and fraternal grandparents James "Bud" and Ava Lee Chastain of Austin, Texas. She is survived by her mother, Trudy “Shari” Chastain, her maternal grandmother Catherine Gambrell, and an adorable 7-year old son. Danielle was Jerry's and Shari's only child and she will always be dearly loved and greatly missed. Although her earthly presence is no longer with us, we are comforted in the belief that our beloved Danielle is with our Heavenly Father and she is dancing with the angels.
