Chuck was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on April 20, 1934. He attended Roosevelt High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Coe College. He was married to Frankie Moser on June 9, 1956.
Chuck had a career in the commercial refrigeration industry. He worked for numerous companies, finishing his career at Hussman Corp.
A member of The Woodlands Country Club, he had a passion for golf and enjoyed any sport that his grandchildren played.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Evelyn Strasburger. He is survived by his wife, Frankie; his daughters, Julie (Mike) Medved and Lisa (Mike) Spinks; grandchildren, Evan Sawyer, Mallory (Cody) O’ Dell, Brice Sawyer, Michael (Amanda) Medved, Malynn (Kameron) Barnett; great-grandsons, Jack and Charlie O’Dell; brother, Steven (Marcia) Strasburger, and family.

A gathering for friends and family will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2018, starting at 3:00 p.m. in the event room of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A celebration of Chuck’s life will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Forest Park’s chapel.
