Carrie L. McWilliams- Bauer, age 47, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Carrie was born on May 1, 1973 in Park Ridge, Illinois to Nancy and David McWilliams
Carrie is survived by her husband, Erik Bauer; parents Nancy and David McWilliams; brother Doug McWilliams; sister Courtney McWilliams; nieces Megan McWilliams, Ava Romero and Ella Romero and nephews Scott McWilliams and Grant McWilliams.
Carrie graduated from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas where she was a varsity tennis player. She subsequently earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in business from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She also received a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.
Carrie was employed by the Klein Independent School District in Spring, Texas. She taught third grade at McDougal Elementary and Lemm Elementary.
Anyone wanting to make a charitable donation in Carrie’s name in lieu of flowers should address the gift to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter as Carrie was an ardent animal advocate.
