Barbara Joan Gann

She was married to Harold Edward Williams from January 1, 1955 until his passing in 1990. Barbara and Harold had 3 children, Karla, Keith, and Kris. On July 30, 1994 she married her best friend, James Gann.

Barbara built many long-lasting friendships with her Ponderosa Forest neighbors, and co-workers and customers she met while working at Interurban Pharmacy. When she splurged on herself, she could be found shopping, going out to lunch with friends, or having fun at the slot machines. Barbara was the queen of the holidays and loved getting her family together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She took great joy in turning her home into a family gathering place.

She frequently received requests for her holiday recipes, many of which have become family “must haves” for the holidays. She never missed an opportunity to make something look a little more special and was a master at all things décor. She loved to play bridge and gin rummy and was the queen of crossword puzzles. Barbara was a huge football fan. Every weekend in the fall she was dedicated to watching her favorite teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Auburn Tigers. She also enjoyed spending many hours watching golf with husband, James. Her husband, her children, and her grandchildren were her greatest love.

She is survived by her husband James Gann, children Karla Stone (John Libby), Keith Williams (Judy), Kristin Weddle (Scott), stepchildren Troy Gann (Laura), Jeannie Godfrey (Glenn), Jackie Kirk (Bryan), grandchildren, Tim, Megan, Allen, Allie, Summer, Drew, Lauren, Grant, Karley, Erika, Sara, Jenna, and ten great grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her generous love and for the special memories with friends and family she created along the way.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A committal service will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
