Theodore David Haynes

Theodore David Haynes, age 83, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was born on February 19, 1940 in Tuskahoma, OK. Mr. Haynes was a 20 year veteran of the U S Air Force serving in the Vietnam War and was retired from International Paper Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Haynes.

Survivors include children, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Sam Butler, son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Ronda Haynes, daughter, DeDe Bryant, daughters and sons-in-law, Willa and Kirk Wheeler and Krista and Mark Nicholson; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Roger Moore;18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and his furbaby, Marie.

Celebration of Life service will be 12 noon Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Doug Larey officiating. Cremation is under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Texarkana Food Bank or Alzheimer's Association.
