Sue McCrossen

Sue McCrossen, 87, of Texarkana, TX passed away November 10, 2013 at her home. Mrs. McCrossen was born May 13, 1926 in Little Rock, AR. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and Daughters of the King. She was a teacher for the Greenville, TX public schools; St. James Day School; Fairview Elementary School; and was a retired educator from Texarkana Community College. She was a Circle of Pride recipient from A & M University, Commerce, TX and was a member of the Shreveport Opera Board for many years.

She was preceded in death by husband of 41 years, Harry J. McCrossen, Jr.

Mrs. McCrossen is survived by many friends and loved ones.

Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. James Episcopal Church with Father Douglas Anderson and Father David Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. James Episcopal Church Choir Fund.
