Ronald Wayne Elam, 51, of Texarkana, AR. passed away on May 3, 2019 at his home. Ronald was born on January 6, 1968 in Texarkana, TX. He was a veteran of the Texas National Guard and member the Texarkana Pool League. He was also a member of the Methodist Church. One of his favorite pass times was cooking for his family and friends. He loved gardening and being in the out doors. Ronald was a die hard Green Bay Packers fan and devoted Jeff Gordon and Nascar fan.
Preceded in death by a grandmother Helen Marie Elam.
Survived by his wife Kimberly Elam of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law Cory and Harley Elam of Springfield, MO; one son Austin Riggs and daughter Alyssa Elam both of Texarkana, AR; mother Helen Elam of Texarkana; one granddaughter Audree Elam of Springfield, MO; father-in-law Ricky Bennett, brother-in-law Chris Riggs, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amanda and Shain Newton all of Texarkana; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jennifer and Ricky Joe Henderson of Vacaville, CA. Plus one grandchild on the way! Plus a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, May 6, 2019 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Brother Matthew Butler officiating. Burial will follow service in Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, AR.
Family will receive friends Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 2 to 4 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family will be at the family home at 210 Jackson Street, Texarkana, AR.
