Randy S. Hedrick

Randy S. Hedrick, 64, formerly of Shreveport, LA. passed away June 30, 2012 at his home. Mr. Hedrick was born December 18, 1947 in DeQueen, AR. He was a retired journalist from the Shreveport Times, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a graduate of Arkansas State University.

Randy was a blessing to his family. He was a devoted son and a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother Violet Hedrick of Dierks, AR; one daughter and son-in-law Mindy and Charles Ogden of Texarkana, TX; one uncle Gene Sharp of Ozan, AR; one half brother and sister-in-law Sam and Cindy Hedrick of Valliant, OK; one half-sister Lynelle Spencer of Springdale, AR; former wife and friend Mary Hedrick of Texarkana; three grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited 6:00 P.M. Monday, July 2, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane with visitation to follow.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
