Pamela Sue Beasley (Rogers) was born Aug 28th, 1951, in Springhill Louisiana. She attended nursing school at Southern State University in Magnolia, AR, graduating with a degree in nursing in May 1972 before moving to Little Rock Arkansas to work at St. Vincent Hospital. While there, she met David who stole her heart with kindness and his ability to play for Bobby on the guitar. She continued in Neonatal and Pediatrics care until 1995 when she went to work for the Texarkana Baptist Orphanage where she shared her gifts and patience with hundreds of children. In 2002, she left the orphanage to continue working with children at Wadley Hospital. She passed at home under hospice care with her husband on the evening of the July 17th.
Pam spent her life in the service of God and others, and was known for her love of God, her caring nature, and her love of the Wizard of Oz. She volunteered her time at church, free clinics, scouting events, and anywhere she was needed.
Pamela was predeceased by her father Prattie Hillard, mother Ethyl Rogers, and her two brothers Duane Rogers and Bobby Rogers. She is survived by the love of her life and her husband of 47 years, David Lynn Beasley, their two sons David and John and her two brothers Dorman and Pat Rogers as well as 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
