Nancy "Sharon" Johnson, 71, of Hooks, TX. passed away at her home on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Sharon was born August 1, 1946 in Santa Monica, CA. She retired from Bowie County Appraisal District and worked many years for Stanco.
Preceded in death by her husband Earl Glendon Johnson, Sr. and a grandson Kodi Kaleo Scott.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Liz Shaw of Hooks, TX. and Earl Glendon Johnson, Jr. and Stephanie of Weatherford, TX; three daughters and two sons-in-law Christie and Michael Scott and Angelia and Randy Scott all of Hooks, TX., and Leonia Shaw of Texarkana, TX; one brother James "Jim" De Soto of New Boston, TX; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; plus many beloved friends.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane officiated by Mr. Bill Bullock.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
Family will be at the home of Michael and Christie Scott, 203 East 6th Street, Hooks, TX.
