Mary Clements

Mary Lee (Dickens) Clements, age 91, of Hooks, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at a local nursing home. She was born on June 2, 1931 in Scroggins, TX to T.O. and Bertha Dickens. Mrs. Clements was a member of Hooks Missionary Baptist Church, Hooks, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Thurman Clements: daughter Twela Moore; son, Graylan Clements; three grandchildren, Eric Clements, Deleshia Elliott and Dylan Bushman.

Survivors include, two grandchildren, Keri Price and husband David of Texarkana, TX and Jessica Clements of Queen City, TX; 12 great grandchildren, Jaelan Nelson, Brayden Bushman, Dasa Bushman, Afton Bushman, Kelsi Usrey, Kaylee Kugler, Connor Price, Madilyn Price, Journey Price, Sophie Price, MaKyna and Ayden McPherson and son-in-law Clarence Moore.

Graveside service will be 11am Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Red Lick Cemetery with Rev. Matt Graves officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
