Margie was preceded in death by her parents, BC ( Shorty ) and Lota Stevens of Texarkana, Texas and her father Kenneth W. burns of Lamar County, Texas a sister Beatrice Merchant of Shreveport, La, brother Homer Lee Stevens of Texarkana and a very special friend Carl Futrell of Shreveport, La. Margie was a member of Shreveport La First United Methodist Church.
Margie is survived by her nieces Martha and Tommy Everett, Rosemary and James Lewis all of Queen City, Texas. A nephew David and Kathy Stevens of Genoa, Ar and two special cousins Jackie Barnard and Linda Brenden.
Also left to cherish her memory are special friends Bobby Eitel of Texarkana and Dot Hall of Shreveport, La.
Her family and friends will have a private burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Texarkana, Ar.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
