James "Randy" Poole

James “Randy” Poole, 59, of Texarkana, TX passed away May 7, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Poole was born May 27, 1953 in Hope, AR. He was employed with TDCJ - ID - Telford Unit and a member of Boxer Rescue of Texarkana.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Poole of Texarkana, TX; sons, Jeremy Poole of Texarkana, AR and Scott Poole of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Sarah Poole of Texarkana, TX; grandsons, Wyatt Poole and Riley Poole both of Texarkana, AR; granddaughter, Sadie Poole of Texarkana, TX; brothers, Lynn Poole of New Boston, TX, Alan Poole of Alvarado, MN, and Toney Poole of Plano, TX; and sister, Sandra Thomas of Beaumont, TX.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2013 at East Memorial Chapel – Downtown. No formal services will be held after the visitation. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
