Jack F. Sims Jr.

Jack F. Sims, Jr., 75, of Texarkana, TX passed away March 31, 2016 at his home. Mr. Sims was born April 4, 1940 in Pine Bluff, AR. He was retired from International Paper; was a member of Williams United Methodist Church; member of the Supervisors Club at International Paper; Quarter Century Club; and Northridge Country Club; he served in the Army Reserves.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Nann Powell; and his parents, Jack and Theda Bill Sims.

Survivors include his wife, Frieda Sims of Texarkana, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Jack F. Sims III and Hollie of Texarkana, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Frix and Kelley of Texarkana, TX; sisters, Cindy Lawrence of Mayflower, AR and Laura Hopson of Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Peyton Sims, Carly Rhyne, Jacob Frix and Kennedy Frix all of Texarkana, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Dale Vickers officiating under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

The family receive friends Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of Rebecca and Kelley Frix, 605 Lakeridge Circle, Texarkana, TX 75503
