Ella Katie Robertson

Katie Robertson, 108, of Texarkana, TX. passed away on October 10, 2019 at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Robertson was born June 3, 1911 in Pittsburg, TX. the last of 10 children. She loved crafts and taking care of her family and playing a game called Flinch.

Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Robertson, Sr. and her parents Charles and Kate Dorfman; brothers Leo, Hiller, Sam, Ikey and Charles, Jr; sisters Mamie Dunn, Ethel Berry, Rachel Dorfman and Tillie

Survived by her son Ralph Robertson, Jr. of Texarkana, TX; one daughter and son-in-law Linda and Joe Pierce of Hawarden, IA. Two grandchildren Heather Haidley and Shawn Pierce both of Omaha, NE; four great-grandchildren Jaymee, Caitlyn, Collin and Sophia all of Omaha. Plus numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Funeral service will be 2 :00 P.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Brian Hervin officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. prior to funeral service. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
