Don Owens

Don Owens, age 85, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 in a local nursing home. He was born on January 29, 1939 in Lockesburg, AR. Don retired from Red River Army Depot and was a U S Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Texarkana Radio Control Flying Club.

Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Owens and brother, Bill Owens.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Steve Campisi of Texarkana, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Donovan and Darla Owens of Redwater, TX; sister Jean Stone of Queen city, TX; grandson, David Campisi of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Ashton Riddle and her husband Blake of Redwater, TX; great grandchildren, Case and Wyatt; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet and Lonnie Binnicker of Wake Village, TX.

Funeral Service will be 4pm Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Kevin Schutte officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made in Mr. Owens name to Red Lick United Methodist Church.
