Diana Lynn Smith

Diana was born June 12, 1951 in McKean County, Pa. She was retired from a local law firm and was a member of 4 States Iron Munchers Association. Weaving was her passion which she demonstrated at arts and crafts festivals in the region. She was a member of Red Bayou Methodist Church in New Boston, Texas but for the last 10 years has been attending Beech Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son Francis Allen Monigold.

Survivors include her husband Paul Smith of New Boston, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Kemp Monigold and his wife Holly of Brandon, Mississippi and Karl Everett Monigold and his wife Birgit of Brandon, Mississippi.

Also left to cherish her memory are her stepdaughter Pam Baker of Bryan, Texas and a sister Mary Pennington of Magnolia, Texas and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 at Beech Street Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Richard Posey officiating.

Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Beech Street Baptist Church Chapel.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Hospice of Texarkana or Beech Street Baptist Church.
