I remember when we drove around looking at the Christmas lights. How I love that memory and was looking forward to doing it again and going on jogs, and just enjoying life in the simplest ways. How I wish I could have done that before you left because then maybe you would have stayed. I deeply miss you Carter and love you so much. If I knew where you were, I’d leave a orange Vanilla Coke just for you. Might try one today even though it sounds disgusting.

Tiffanee, my heart breaks for you and your family. Sending up prayers daily. 

I can remember and will always hold dear to my heart our conversations at work. We would talk for hours about everything. We shared lots of laughter, love, and sometimes even pain.  Honestly you were a little brother in mind, and you always gave great advice and kept it all the way real 💯!! I will always cherish the memories I have of you forever more. My prayers go out to your family because I know how much you loved them.    🕊Rest easy  Lil Bro and fly high 🕊

My deepest condolences. Prayers are with you and the family in this most difficult time. I could not even imagine the pain , my heart aches for you. I pray for peace and comfort that only God can give . 

I babysat Carter when he was a small child and he had such an authentic innocence and gigantic heart. He was blessed to have such a special family who assisted him in making many amazing memories.  I pray those special memories will be a source of peace to all who knew and loved him. To Carter’s family-please know you are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Ever since I moved to Texarkana in high school me and Carter quickly hit it off, and ever since have been close friends. Carter was always someone who had a good heart and was loyal to his friends. One of the funniest and goofiest people I’ve had the blessing of meeting in my life. Carter always had me laughing about something we would be talking about, or in class in high school I would just look at him and we would start laughing. From me and Carter getting into a fender bender with each other in the high school parking lot and laughing about it, to the nights I’ve spent over at his house. Carter most definitely touched my life, and I’m happy I was able to call him a friend. 

I enjoyed seeing your smiling face when I came into work at Cornerstone.  Thanks for being a good friend.  RIP.

Words cannot express how much your life meant to our family. You were like another son to us. No one could know you and not know your huge heart for your family and love for animals. I think of your gentle spirit and your sweet laugh. I think of you chasing escaping corn snake babies, and talking like a baby to a "rescued alligator" that ended up in your friend's (not revealing names) room! I think of you making plans to introduce a new baby goat to your parents and feeding baby ducks that you brought home. I was so lucky to be able to share your sweet spirit with our residents at Cornerstone and oh how they fell in love with you immediately. You made an impression everywhere you went, and God blessed all who knew you by allowing us all to love you back. We will not be the same but we can ask that God give us a piece of your kind and gentle spirit to carry with us now. Thank you for that gift sweet boy. I love you

I worked with Carter at Cornerstone and every morning he would greet me with a smile, good smelling cologne and a nice colorful polo shirt lol we would have good conversations every morning for about 10/15 mins I will always miss that smile and those deep conversations we would have he will always have a place in my heart so this is never a goodbye but always see you later Carter on the other side save a spot for us all just not to soon ❤️ you my friend 😔
