Timothy Roberts Sr., 71, of West Terre Haute passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He owned and operated Tim's Sealcoat for many years. He was born September 17, 1948 at Terre Haute to Duke Roberts and Betty Maxine Hammond Roberts. Survivors include: His wife of fifty-one years Loretta Roberts whom he married on January 3, 1969 in Illinois; two daughters, Janet Stevens and Angie Spears; two sons, Timothy "TJ" Roberts (Lisa), and Eric "Duke" Roberts; seven brothers and sisters-in-law Chuck and Judy Lyman Sr., Rick and Sue, Tom and Jackie, Hobie and Jeannie, Pete and Kay, and Donn and Michelle; five sisters Patty, Becky (Tom), Connie, Dee (Luck), and Judy (David); a sister-in-law Connie; fifteen grandchildren Misty, Ashley, Mikey, Cierra, Skyla, Dakota, Avery, Bryson, Jayton, Linlee, Brooklyn, Shara, Dakota, Jaclon, and Tyler; two great-grandchilden Leyland and Riley, and one on the way; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs Jack and Chico. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Craig and George; three sisters Shirley, Verna, and Donna; and a brother-in-law Wayne. He enjoyed deer hunting and deer camp, fishing, camping, family get-togethers. He enjoyed playing drums, spending time on the Wabash River, spending time with his grandchildren, and being there to help people. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday.
