Thomas E. Dwyer

Tom was born October 12, 1946, the son of the late Michael and Lillian (Hall) Dwyer. He went on to proudly serve our country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War. Tom would later marry the former Billie R. McKenzie on October 4, 1991 in Terre Haute. He worked for several years as a fork truck driver at Wabash Fiber Box Company. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, collecting guns, taking pictures and woodworking. He will forever be remembered as a hardworking and loving husband and father, a devoted veteran and the ultimate jokester. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched for generations to come.

Tom is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Billie; sons, Thomas Joseph Dwyer and T.J. Dwyer; daughter, Heather Dwyer; step daughter, Amy Valentine; grandchildren, Mariah, Mikkayla and Jeremy; his twin sister, Melanie Wright and his brother, Michael and wife Mary Dwyer. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of Tom’s funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Roselawn Funeral Home in Terre Haute.
