John was an operating engineer in construction where he drove heavy equipment and was a proud member of the Operating Engineer’s Union. John loved to work and continued to try to work even after becoming sick.
John is survived by sister Carolyn Osborn and husband Charles, sister Penny Ray and husband Ed, nephews Colin Osborn and Chad Ray, and niece Nicole Miller.
John is preceded in death by his parents John Melvin and Helen Irene Ross, and grandparents Thomas and Mabel Mellin.
