James Julian Bailey

James "Jim" Julian Bailey, age 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away peacefully with his kids by his side on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Jim was born on August 26, 1948 in Terre Haute to Eugene Edward Bailey and Mary Elizabeth Bailey. Jim is survived by his three children: Jimmy Bailey and wife Maude, Stacy Bailey and John Bailey and wife Trisha; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; also his siblings, Ruby Brentlinger, Edna Reagan, Eddie Bailey, Mary Elkins, Phillis Ruiz, Rusty Bailey, and Steve Bailey. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Judy Bailey; siblings, Jack, Robert and Richard; and grandchildren, Steven, Shelby and Trey. Jim was a professional carpenter for 40 years, master of his craft. He loved his family with all of his heart, enjoyed working on his yard and making things in his garage. Nothing was more important to him than taking care of his family and helping others when he could. He loved laughing, his heart was full of love.
